Winter is on its way out and Spring is just around the corner! Well, this is Duluth, so winter tends to hang around a little longer – but that’s great because there are so many fun things to do in Duluth during Spring Break!
The skiing is just about perfect with fresh snow. Spirit Mountain and Mont Du Lac ski resorts are fully open and will offer you a day of fun on the slopes. In addition to skiing, you can also go tubing, cross county skiing, and partake of a nice, hot meal and relaxing drink as needed.
Find your wild side at the Lake Superior Zoo with their $5 Fridays all winter long. Not all animals hibernate and there are plenty of cute creatures to enjoy at the zoo.
Duluth has become an artist haven and many studios offer opportunities for anyone to take a class and experience creating something amazing. Lake Superior Art Glass offers classes on making wine goblets, ornaments, pendants, and marbles. Paint a masterpiece at On The Rocks Art Studio and learn the art from local artisans. The Duluth Art Institute offers rotating exhibits along with opportunities to try out a variety of arts.
