The Edgewater and Duluth know how to celebrate July 4th with great events and activities for our guests and visitors.
July 1 & 2 – Exclusively for Edgewater Guests Only: Arts & crafts, airbrush tattoos, rubber ducky races in the waterpark, appearances by Tiki Tom! Tiki Tom’s Grill will be offering $2 hot dog/chips meals. Weather permitting, activities will be held outdoors 5 – 7 pm each night. Events and times are subject to change.
New This Year! Guests only can ride the train to Bayfront Festival Park on July 4 to enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in the region. The train departs the Edgewater at 6 & 8 pm and returns from Bayfront at 11:15 pm. If the train schedule does not work for you, we will have school buses shuttling to and from Bayfront starting at 6:00 pm.
The gates at Bayfront open at 4 pm and visitors can enjoy live music from Kat Perkins of NBC’s The Voice, Glen’s Neighbor, Mark Rubin and Dead-End Friends. The Mighty Thomas Carnival is just next door to Bayfront in the DECC Parking lot and is open all day.
Visit Duluth in August and see Thomas the Tank Engine courtesy of the North Shore Scenic Railroad. New this year is Thomas’ friend, Percy! Only the combo ticket purchase will get you a special ride aboard Percy. See the website for all the details.
We make it easy! Rent a room and add on the Thomas the Tank Engine package that works best for you.
We look forward to seeing you real soon!
