Eight days and more than two hundred performances will bring a mix of musical stylings across the cities of Duluth and Superior area bars, taverns, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. The Duluth Homegrown Music Festival begins Sunday, April 26 and ends May 3. The schedule is jam-packed with musical artists, a few filmmakers and other artists.
Buy a weeklong pass for just $25! Tickets may be purchased for the week, weekend or daily. There are venues for all ages and others for only the 21 and older crowd. The festival allows locals to showcase their talent at venues that you may not have ever gone into before. Artists from all genres of music can be found playing so be sure to hop around to find your favorites!
The hottest ticket will be for Wednesday, April 29, when Big Wave Dave and the Ripples followed by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and the finale of Trampled by Turtles will take the main stage at Clyde Iron Works.
And there is more than just performances to enjoy. On Saturday, May 2, at Chester Bowl Park there is the Rock ’n’ Run and the Homegrown Kickball Classic.

It’s time for the Arrowhead Home & Builder Show taking over the DECC complex with loads of home improvement, landscaping, design and product vendors anxious to show off what’s new for the summer season. Mark your calendars for April 8 – 12, 2015, and plan to spend an entire day looking, comparing and dreaming of what could be your home this summer.

This year the main stage will have multiple acts including bluegrass artists of the year, The Roys and 12 talented kids, The Willis Clan. And, for the first time in Duluth, NASA’s traveling exhibit “Journey To Tomorrow” will be in Pioneer Hall. Of course, Parakeet Landing will be back with its assortment of colorful birds as well as balloon animals and face painting with Builder Bob.

The Duluth Boat, Sports, Travel & RV Show along with the Northland Outdoors Deer Classic is set to come to the DECC February 18 – 22, 2015. This will be the 49th consecutive year and we look forward to it each and every time! And one ticket will get you into both shows.
You will find the largest selection of camping equipment, motorcycles, the latest and greatest fishing gear, and of course boats and RVs at the Duluth Boat Show. During the show, top expert hunters and fishermen will give seminars with new ideas and tips to help you get the big one!
The country band American Young will be the main stage entertainment during the five days of the show. Check the website for show times. In the Lake Superior Ballroom you will find the best in family entertainment with Australian Wild Animals show with kangaroos, emu, wallabies and kookaburras as well as a variety of birds. Seminars each day will highlight where these animals live, eat and their lifestyle.
And don’t forget to get your face painted by Cherri Merri Muffin at the main deli. The trout tank will be back again this year so be sure to stop by, cast a line and try your luck!
Bring your deer rack to be measured at the Deer Classic and take in any number of hunting seminars presented by experts in the field. Try your skills at the DNR Laser Shot and get information on gun and hunter safety.
