In addition to our new hot breakfast provided by Savories Catering, we have upgraded our fitness center and Sunrise Lounge. A coffee shop and business center are next on the upgrade list. We can’t wait for you to check out our new facilities!
The fitness center has been moved from its smaller location to a larger space so we could bring you all the best to keep you healthy and fit while staying at the Edgewater. The new room has 3 treadmills (no more waiting!), two elliptical machines, a recumbent and an upright bicycle, two free weight benches, along with medicine balls and mats for all your fitness needs. In addition to the beautiful view of Lake Superior, we have also installed 4 flat screen televisions with remotes. Water, sanitizing wipes and towels are also provided.
The Sunrise Lounge has been a favorite spot to relax and now it’s even better! Several new games have been added including darts, fooze ball and pool which can be played for less than a dollar. We also installed a 60” and two 42” televisions so you have more options to view sports, news and other programming.
Soon we will have a coffee shop located in our main lobby which will feature Duluth Coffee. Guests can purchase lattes, mochas, blended/ice drinks along with our famous cinnamon rolls and other baked goods. It will be open 6 am – 2 pm daily.
A new business center will also be opening soon in our classic building. It will have 2 computer stations, a printer, and a lounge area with flat screen television. You can be away from home and still get everything done!
We are pleased to be able to offer more to our guests than ever before. Come check out our new features as well as enjoying what makes us great – the Edge Waterpark!

To a lot of folks spring break means a break from school and a vacation to someplace with a lot of people in swimsuits holding cool beverages. To us at the Edge Waterpark, it means pretty much the same thing! We have 80 degrees of water fun and cool drinks for kids and adults.
You can have the best of both worlds when you visit Duluth during the spring break holiday. Outside the weather is perfect for skiing, skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and sledding. Duluth has lots of fluffy snow and ice and the temps aren’t too bitterly cold. It’s a great time to be outside! There are so many things to do in Duluth during this wonderful winter, ah I mean, spring break.
All the restaurants serve up all kinds of warm, comfort foods that are sure to fill you up after a day playing in the snow. The Chicken Tetrazzini at Grandma’s Restaurant is a signature dish – and don’t forget to get an order of the best onion rings when you go. Add a little spice to dinner with a meal at Little Angie’s, Azteca’s Mexican Grill or Mexico Lindo. Duluth has everything from Italian to Japanese to Thai and everything in between for food options.
And when the weather outside is frightful, inside the Edge Waterpark will be warm and delightful. Take a few turns on the lazy river or enjoy a relaxing moment in the hot tub. The four-story slides are sure to thrill the adventurous side of you. And if water isn’t your thing, we have the Paradise Cove Arcade with more than 40 games to play.
Visit Duluth and enjoy winter and spring at the same time! Book today and pack your bags for a spring break vacation that you will truly enjoy.
